Butter Chicken Recipe

  1. Cook the chicken
    Heat oil or butter in a pan over medium heat. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned.

  2. Add spices
    Sprinkle in the Butter Chicken Spice and salt. Stir well and cook for 30 seconds to bloom the spices.

  3. Add tomatoes
    Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 5–7 minutes until chicken is fully cooked and sauce thickens.

  4. Finish with cream
    Stir in cream and optional sugar. Simmer 2–3 minutes until smooth and rich.

  5. Serve
    Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.

Tip (Optional)

For deeper flavor, marinate the chicken with 1 tbsp yogurt and 1 tbsp Butter Chicken Spice for 30 minutes before cooking.

  • 1 lb boneless chicken (thighs or breast), cut into pieces

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter½ cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes¼ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)

  • 2 tbsp Masala STL Butter Chicken Spice½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • Optional: 1 tsp sugar or honey

  • Optional garnish: chopped cilantro
