Chai Spice Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups water

  • 1 cup whole milk

  • 2 tsp black tea leaves or 2 black tea bags

  • 2 tsp Masala STL Chai Spice Blend

  • 2–3 tsp sugar, honey, or jaggery (to taste)

Instructions

  1. Boil spices & water
    In a saucepan, bring the water and chai spice to a boil. Let it simmer for 2–3 minutes to release the flavors.

  2. Add tea
    Add black tea and simmer for 1–2 minutes.

  3. Add milk & sweetener
    Pour in milk and add sweetener. Bring back to a gentle boil.

  4. Simmer
    Lower heat and simmer for 2–3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Strain & serve
    Strain into cups and enjoy hot.

 Tip (Optional)

For stronger chai, simmer a little longer. For creamier chai, add more milk.
You can also make iced chai by cooling and pouring over ice.
