Tikka Masala Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb boneless chicken (thighs or breast), cut into pieces

  • ½ cup plain yogurt

  • 2 tbsp Masala STL Tikka Masala Spice

  • 1 tbsp oil or butter

  • ½ cup tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes

  • ¼ cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)

  • ½ tsp salt (adjust to taste)

  • Optional garnish: chopped cilantro

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken
    Mix yogurt and 1 tbsp Tikka Masala Spice. Coat chicken and marinate at least 30 minutes.

  2. Cook the chicken
    Heat oil or butter in a pan. Add chicken and cook until lightly browned.

  3. Add sauce & spices
    Stir in remaining Tikka Masala Spice, tomato sauce, and salt. Simmer 5–7 minutes until chicken is cooked through.

  4. Finish with cream
    Add cream and simmer 2–3 minutes until rich and smooth.

  5. Serve
    Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.

Tip (Optional)

For deeper flavor, grill or broil the marinated chicken first, then add to the sauce.
